Use Uptime.com to automate your status page incident reporting

Once you enable 3rd party monitoring in a service copy the email address of the service and head out to your Uptime.com dashboard, click on "Notifications > Contacts" the "New Contact".

Add a descriptive name for the contact like "Statuspal > [ServiceName] Service", paste the email address in the "Emails" field and click Add, then click on "Save".

Then go to the "Monitoring > Checks" page to add the new contact, find your check and click on "Actions > Edit", then in the Contacts field add the newly created contact.

After that whenever the check fails it should cause an incident to be created automatically in your status page with the chosen service in it, it should also get closed automatically when the check passes again (your service comes back up).
