Use UptimeRobot to automate your status page incident reporting

Once you enable 3rd party monitoring in a service copy the email address of the service and head to your UptimeRobot account, click on "My Settings" and then the "Alert Contacts" section.

Click on "Add alert contact".

Add a descriptive name for the contact like "Statuspal > [ServiceName] Service", paste the email address and click "Create Alert Contact".

UptimeRobot requires that you activate the email account so we forward the activation email to your Statuspal account's email, you should receive it shortly, and once you click on the "Activate" link in the email the alert contact should be enabled.

Then go to your monitor to add the new alert contact (Click on the gear icon of your monitor and then click on Edit).

Look for the "Select "Alert Contacts To Notify" section and check the newly created contact and click "Save changes".

After that whenever the monitor fails it should cause an incident to be created automatically in your status page with the chosen service in it, it should also get closed automatically when the check passes again (your service comes back up).
